Order Policy

PRICING: Please note that all prices are in U.S. Currency.
 

ORDER PROCESSING POLICY:
 Your Shopping Cart will automatically submit your order. You will receive a computer-generated confirmation that your order was placed, the order number, item(s) ordered, Amount, Billing & Shipping information. Print a copy & Mail this along with your check or money order. Your item(s) will be held for seven (7) days. If payment is not received within that time, the hold will be removed from the item(s) and they will be returned to stock. If payment is made by Personal check, we will hold the item(s) for you for an additional 10 to 15 days after we receive your payment. Time for our bank to clear your check. Current applicable fees will be charged in cases of bounced checks. Item(s) paid for by Money Order are shipped 3 business days after receipt. If you are paying by credit card, using our option for Pay Pal  payment service,  your order will be shipped 3 business days after receipt. All approved transactions will be processed and shipped in 3 business days.
PayPal also gives users the option to pay for purchases by using a credit or debit card, (you do not have to sign up with Pay Pal to pay with your credit or debit card) in addition to enabling payments from a bank account and providing users with an online funds account.

Missouri customers will be charged a 7.6% sales tax.

 

 

OUR SHIPPING POLICY: Items will be shipped by USPS Mail. We may elect to ship by some other carrier and will notify you if that is the case. All orders shipped to addresses outside of the U.S. will be shipped by U.S. Postal Service or UPS.

First Class International Shipping Starting at $14.00 (Delivery Times Vary)

Australian orders can only be shipped Priority Mail Insured starting at $35 (Small Flat Rate Box)
Regular International Priority Mail under 1 pound Insured Starts at $48 (6 to 10 Business days)
(Choose First Class International on your check out page and I will add $21 for small flat rate box or $34 for for regular Priority box for the additional shipping to Australia when I process your card. If paying by paypal please add the additional charge to your payment)

OUR RETURN POLICY: We're certain you'll be happy with your merchandise. However if you have any questions about the item(s) you are ordering (please include the item number, example: BR 647 T) , &  email us at Southwest Gems before placing your order.
If that rare occasion arises where you feel you must return an item, please contact us for return instructions within (7) days (by phone or email) of receipt of your item(s). Upon our receipt and inspection of the returned item(s), we will issue a refund for your item(s) minus the 15% restocking fee if returned in the same condition as it was when it was sent to you. If your are exchanging an item or returning one that has been damaged check our Exchange & Damage Policy below. Buyer is responsible for return shipping/insurance costs, which will not be reimbursed for any reason. Returned merchandise must be received by us within (10) days of the date from which you contact us regarding the return.

 

OUR RESTOCKING POLICY: There is a 15% restocking fee for all returned merchandise.

 

OUR DAMAGE & Exchange  POLICY: We're certain you'll be happy with your merchandise. We take extra care to fully describe our items. If you have any questions about the item(s) you are ordering (please include the item number, example: BR 647 T) and please email us at Southwest Gems before placing your order. If that rare occasion arises where you feel you must return an item, please contact us for return instructions within (7) days (by phone or email) of receipt of your item(s). Upon our receipt and inspection of the returned item(s), (in the same condition as it was sent to you) we will exchange your item(s)  for an item(s) of equal or greater value of your choice avoiding the 15% restocking fee or if you are just returning your item for a refund we will issue a refund minus the 15% restocking fee. Buyer is responsible for shipping/insurance costs, which will not be reimbursed for any reason. Returned merchandise must be received by us within (10) days of the date from which you contact us regarding the return.
For our repair procedure, we give our customers 17 days after purchase to return items for repair at no charge and after 17 days, we do have to charge for the repair.  You need to contact us as soon as possible when there is something wrong with the item that was purchased from us, that way we are aware of the problem and can repair it at no charge if it was purchased within the 17 days.
